Mark your calendars for Arbor Place’s free conference, coming August 16-17, 2023.
We’re bringing the area’s leading professionals together to connect, share personal experiences, and learn modern evidence-based approaches as we focus on reaching all populations, specifically the often-forgotten rural population. There are visceral, complex disparities between urban and rural populations and their access to behavioral health services. Join us as we change that together.
The conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with check-in beginning at 8 a.m., Wednesday, August 16 and Thursday, August 17. Register by August 7 to guarantee your spot. There is no cost to attend. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) will be provided by Minnesota State University – Mankato, at no cost.
There will also be an optional event at 5 p.m. on August 16. Arbor Place, Inc. will soon begin construction of a new treatment unit specifically designed for pregnant and parenting women with children and we want your input! What do you see as programming and service needs for this population? How could the availability of a women’s and children’s treatment unit impact your work?
This optional event will be an opportunity to share your thoughts as we work on program development for a new treatment unit. A light meal will be provided.
The conference will be held at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire. A block of rooms has been reserved at the nearby Metropolis Resort in Eau Claire at a rate of $95.00 per night plus taxes and applicable fees. Rooms are blocked for the nights of Tuesday, August 15, 2023, and Wednesday, August 16, 2023.
To reserve a room, please call 715-334-8751.
Please mention the room block of: “Arbor Place Inc. Inaugural Learning Summit.”
The block of rooms will be in place until July 15, 2023.
